Designing, supply, installation, training, commissioning, and maintenance of a network of 100 nos of tipping bucket rain gauges.
Inova Engineering was awarded this project where a network of 100 nos. tipping bucket rain gauges and sensors were installed and commissioned covering the entire country. This project included the automatic data transmission and reception facilities utilizing wireless telemetry. Further, a customized software/hardware architecture implementation at the DoM headquarters to receive real time updated data from all the stations in visual and graphical format at pre-defined intervals as per the requirements of the DoM. The project was successfully completed and handed over to the DOM. Inova has currently signed up AMC agreements to maintain this island wide network with bench marked standards of service to make sure the data received by the DoM is accurate and up to date. Inova also carried out comprehensive training by qualified technical personnel to aid the capacity building of the related technical staff at the DoM.
